FLINTA Support Hotline

Free peer support for women in the music industry, from Alma Ernst.

Sometimes things happen at work that are difficult to navigate alone. Maybe you're dealing with a difficult professional relationship. Maybe something happened that made you uncomfortable. Maybe you're questioning how you're being treated, struggling to set a boundary, or simply don't know what your next step should be.

And sometimes the hardest part is not knowing who you can talk to.

FLINTA Support Hotline gives you a free 30-minute one-to-one call with Alma Ernst, an experienced music-industry professional who will listen, share perspective and help you think through what you might want to do next.

You don't need to prepare anything. You don't need to prove that your situation is serious enough. You don't need to know exactly what you're asking for. Share only what you feel comfortable sharing.
Free. 30 minutes. Online.

Who is it for

Women working in music
Dealing with a difficult professional relationship
Experiencing uncomfortable behaviour at work
Navigating a conflict or power imbalance
Feeling pressured into something professionally
Struggling to establish a boundary
Questioning whether the way you're being treated is acceptable
Worried that speaking up could affect your career
Unsure how to approach a difficult conversation
Feeling stuck in a professional situation
Needing an experienced person outside the situation to talk to

The issue does not have to be extreme. You don't have to prove that something "bad enough" has happened. "Something is happening at work and I'd like to talk it through with someone who understands this industry" is enough.

What happens during the call

01

You talk, Alma listens

The call is an informal, one-to-one conversation. You share what's happening and Alma listens without judgement. She asks questions where useful.

02

She shares her perspective

Alma draws on her experience in the music industry to help you look at the situation from the outside and think through what your options might be.

03

You leave with more clarity

Sometimes there's a clear next step. Sometimes the value is simply having spoken to someone who understands. Either way, the space is yours.

Alma Ernst

Co-Founder, quietLoud / Senior Agent, LittleBig Agency

Alma has spent over 30 years working within the electronic music industry as a booking agent and agency founder. Over that time she has repeatedly found herself in informal conversations with women navigating difficult professional situations, conversations that revealed how few safe, experienced people there are to talk to. FLINTA Support Hotline grew from those conversations.
